Architectural Journal (Jianzhu Xuebao 建筑学报) was the preeminent publication of China’s design and building industry throughout the 1950s, 1960s, and early 1970s, and provides illuminating evidence of the material, physical and procedural changes taking place in relation to China’s built environment after 1949.
